If you are like me, sometimes, when creating a Custom Object in a Salesforce org, you forget to click the checkbox next to create a custom tab, and then you cannot locate your Custom Object in your Salesforce Org. Did you know you can add it later with Custom Tabs?
To add tabs to a Custom Object:
- Go to Setup
- Search for Tabs in the Quick Find Box
- Click Tabs
- Create New
- Choose the Custom Object from the dropdown box
- Choose a Tab style (Icon)
- Enter a description
- Click Next
- Click Next
Now, your problem is fixed. Now you can pretend your mistake didn’t happen and move on to other issues.
